MISSION STATEMENT



Mystery Lab vzw is a non-profit organization, based in Ghent, Belgium.

With the mission to study the heritage of the art of magic and its allied arts.

And to propagate and disseminate that knowledge by organizing sociocultural activities such as performances, lectures, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and publications which focus on the history and the heritage of the art of magic.

In these endeavors our focal point lies at the study of literature and interactions with the academic world.

In 2020 Mystery Lab vzw was included on the list of esteemed non-profit organizations of the city of Ghent.

+

In 2022 it was celebrated by the city of Ghent as cultural laureate for winning the international 2021 Dick Balzer Award (UK).
